Hey...
1 month ago my gyn took a sample of my vaginal secretion and sent it to be tested for Candida. It came back positive for yeast (the hospital's lab can't determine exactly what kind of yeast it is, but my doctor told me it's Candida for sure). I took one unique dose of Fluconazolum (150mg), and things started to get better: in the first week, my vaginal discharge got more fluid, though it remained white-ish; in the second week it started to get that chees-like consistency again... That's when I went again to my gyn and asked him to take one more sample of my vaginal secretion and send it to be tested at a better, private lab. The results came back negative for Candida, but positive for E. Coli. My doc said it's not such a problem, and I got no treatment this time (he said it'd be better to wait for a while, because if I'd take antibiotics now, maybe my yeast infection will be back).
I don't know what to doI'm only concerned about my vaginal discharge - it has no smell, sometimes is more fluid, sometimes is more thick - but it keeps having those whiteish things in it... what are they from? Candida or E. Coli? Can there still be some Candida left? And... would it be a bad idea if I'd take another unique dose of Fluconazolum, or it's completely useless? Plus that, vaginal E. Coli is still a mistery for me... I don't know if that can be the cause of my white discharge or it's still Candida
Thanks
