    Default Possible cyst?

okay ladies(and men), im guessing this would be under sex since this has to do with my downstairs haha. (Mod moved to Gynecology section)
me and my byofriend(of 3 years) had sex a couple days before my period.
we had semi rough sex and everything was fine, during sex he fell out at one point.
on his way back in, he missed a little.
about 3 days into my period, a cyst like lump formed where his penis missed during sex.
ive been looking up syptoms of what ive been going through, but havent found anything that has really matched up.
there is no discolouration, its not very close to the surface like most Bartholin cysts,
and its not really in the same area. the only problem im having with it, is the fact it hurts.
mostly when i stand or when its touched, its sorta like a throbbing pain.
everything else down there seems to be working just fine.
im wondering if its maybe just a tissue bruise(thinks the boyfriend) or maybe an infected cyst since there is pain.
i'll be going to the doctors soon since ice hasnt been making a difference. and advil takes most of
the pain away but not everything.

any help would be greatly apperciated.

Something could have happened to the duct in the Bartholin gland when this happened or it could just be a little 'trauma' from the act.

If you are hurting and taking Advil for pain, I'd go in and see the Dr.

I had pretty much that same thing happen once. My fiance missed going in and I had a lump that hurt. It showed up the day after we had sex and left the day after, so I never really worried about it. Let us know what the doctor said yesterday!

well thats good yours went away my got worse over the course of a week.
but i got checked out by the doctors and it was a type of bartholin cyst not as bad as it could of been, but not comfortable.
i go back in 2-3 weeks to visit the gyno to take out the word catheter(bigger then i expected it to be!)
it all went smoothly so they dont expect any problems. no antibiotics just some sleepy pain pills.
