Hi for the past few years (4) I've been having trouble during and after sex. This was not always a constant thing just most of the time but not all.
Over the past few weeks it's become a bigger problem as it seems to be getting worse. My perios have started to become a LOT heavier and a lot more painfull. I get pain two-three days before and up to 2 days afterwards, during this time it hurts for me to go too the toilet especially for a poo even though i've for four weeks+ now had diarrhea. The pain during and after sex has got more often now and it's to the point it's rare for me not to be in pain :/ I've been with my husband for over two years now and for most of that hasn't been a problem. Yesterday it was so bad that I was almost cripled with pain and today i'm still bad with the pain.
During these past few weeks when it's got extremely bad i've been having a lot of pain that seems to start where my hips are and goes a little up my sides and into my lower back. sometimes this makes it hard to function as I have a 7 month old son and cos of the pain can't bend down to lay with him, take him for walks.
I also have been getting a lot of headaches though i'm not sure if these are related. I wake up most days with one and if I don't wake up with one after and hour or two of being up i end up with one. Two weeks ago I kept burning up thoough after a week that passed.
I've been to embarresed to go to the docs before about this as all the docs where male where i was registered and I thought it would go in time. I've finally changed surgeries and joined one that has female doctors but i'm still kind of embarressed to discuss this but i don't think i should ignore it anymore. is it worth looking into? don't want to waste ppeople's time
Yep it's worth a visit to the doctors, don't be embarrassed you won't tell them anything they haven't heard before and it could be something really simple that's giving you so much pain and problems. Make an appointment and don't be shy!
