I noticed a small patch of bumps on the opening of my vagina a few months ago, and they were always sensitive but it seems they've become more so. I had some which looked the same that my gynecologist examined and said were normal, and those weren't painful, but these, however, feel very dry when i put in a tampon or have sex. They're towards the bottom of my vaginal opening on the left. The gyn. never said anything about them and I forgot to ask. I was recently diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis, which I was given antibiotics for, and was tested for STDs about a month ago which the results came back clean. There is no pain during urination, but sometimes the area around my vagina and right outside my vaginal lips itches. When the bumps are touched or scratched, the gland swells up. When my partner ejaculate in me, it burns for awhile & i don't know if this is related. Is it possible the BV never went away and is causing this discomfort? I have another appointment on Monday, but a second opinion wouldn't hurt.
