I'm nineteen and about two months ago I had my third papsmear. I was getting back on birth control because my fiance and I just aren't ready for children yet. I'm currently not on any type of health insurance because I've been out of a job for the last 7 months [until recently] and my fiance was in college, we could not afford insurance. I went to a free clinic to have my pap and to get back on birth control. During my exam, the part where the nurse...basically fingers you, she told me that I had a tipped uterus. I hadn't ever heard that from any of my other doctors before this time. I was going to ask the nurse what that meant but before I could say anything she just walked out the door, right after telling me this. I've done some research on the internet and have got a lot of mixed up answers about what it means and various other things. I don't feel comfortable talking to a nurse that was rude to me like that about something this personal, but I don't have a choice right now.... I'm just wondering if any of you have any helpful information and what it means for me having children in the future...
Thanks in advance for any advice/information.
Tasha.
I have a tipped uterus. I have two children, delivered naturally with no problems. When I decided to get pregnant I did so within a month. It wasn't a problem for me at all.
