I just read somewhere that HSV1 (cold sores) can be transfered to the genitals...so this is a possibility.
I still welcome everyone's input/ideas!
I have been tested for every STD known to man (and there isn't any way I could have one!) and my tests were negative. However, I have a SINGLE recurring sore that appears very near my urethra. I am wondering if hormones affect it since I am noticing that it occurs in/around my luteal phase (second half of my menstrual cycle).
Any ideas?
Does it have anything to do with drinking too much iced tea (ya know, increased urinary acidity)?
It is a small, open sore. I can dab blood off of it but it does not bleed. No discharge, no other symptoms but that it hurts when urine or anything else touches it. It is not sore if it is not touched. I get it in the same place every time.
I would love to find out what this is!
Thanks!

OK,
Also just read that that people more commonly have canker sores (aphthous ulcers) than HSV1, and that that can also appear on genitals....
Ok, there is way too much info out there, isn't there. Can't afford a Doc, and this issue doesn's bother me that much....
Will I ever know? ::sigh::
