hi, im in my late teens, and my vagina has been itchy and dry for a while, about 2 months now. i thought it would go away eventually, but it hasn't. it's not an extreme itch, but its enough that it bothers me a lot. it seems to be more my labia (near where i pee) that is itchy and a bit tender, but the lips are a bit itchy as well, and are drier than usual. theres no redness or bumps and i know its not an STD. ive been researching looking for what it might, but i cant find anything that would make any sense or anyone that has the same problem. its not my underwear, detergent, im not sexually active, its not thrush or a yeast infection because there's no unusual odor or discharge. and whats weird is that it seems like my right side is more itchy than the left. does anyone else have this problem or know what it might be? should i go see a gyno?

To me it sounds like dry skin down there. I know when I use soaps with scents or dyes or anything, I itch and sometimes break out down there, so I use scentless plain soap for my down under area. You may want to check out some of the products in the summer's eve line or use gentle soap and try vagasil when you do itch.
