Thread: Very unsure obgyn appt

Alrighty then.
Not pregnant, went to the obgyn and had a vaginal ultra sound done. and there was no "little me" to see, however my left ovary had a bunches of cysts some about a size of a nickle. My right ovary was hard to find! she pressed on my side and i jumped it was tender and swollen, she twisted and moved and pushed that thing all through me and couldnt find it till finally she located it. it had way more full cysts then the other yet the other one doesnt hurt. her explanation was that my 3 month delayed period was because i have not ovulated probably due to stress, and i had nothing to worry about and she was going to jump start it with some meds.
Well now i ask you. Why was my tender ovary so hard to fine, she seemed surprised it was so far over but said it was normal. She said i had a ton of Large cysts, and they are normal. She said it is common to miss periods but not common for me but normal. she said it was most likely stress and thats normal. She said i shouldnt worry about it but if i want to try and get pregnant we might need to try harder then other women, but she said that there is nothing wrong, and i shouldnt have any difficulty... And yet if i dont start in 3 weeks she wants me back to run more tests??? i was so lost??
What should i be thinking at this point?

Try to relax. If she thinks its stressed related, worrying about it now isn't going to help your case. She probably sees this type of thing every day. Trust her and just take it day by day. Stressing about it won't change ANYTHING, and if anything possibly make it worse. Just try to relax and just take it day by day.
