Response to jseac: I have not gotten my period yet, although I'm sure I've ovulated and I think I might even have PMS, yay! I never thought I would be excited to have that. I feel better about the loss, although I was having the worst time last frday, my best friend called to tell me she had her ultrasound and they were having a boy. I broke down and was ready to go check myself into the hospital.
To chocolategoddess. I'll contact you via email or yahoo messenger if it's cool. To everyone: I've come upon another bump in the road. Right after I found out I was pregnant, I found a lump in my breast. I mentioned it to my midwife then, but she said we would watch it, but not to worry. After the loss, at my post op exam, I mentioned it to the doctor and he felt it for a really long time, then told me to get an ultrasound on it. I did myself more harm than good by researching breast lumps on the internet, but it doesn't feel like a cyst would, or any of the other descriptions of lumps. I'm terrified about this because the last ultrasound I got showed that my baby was dead, now I'm afraid this one will be bad news, too. Since my lump is hard and immovable my biggest fear is cancer. Although I'm only 24 and I wouldn't consider myself high risk, it's not like young women never get breast cancer. I'm feeling extremely scared and the appointment isn't until friday, any words of encouragement? |

And I belive you are going to be Excellent! you will walk out of that office a New Woman! don't belive that you have cancer don't even belive there's something wrong with you period. You go in that dr. office and tell them what you felt and say I DON'T BELIVE IT"S ANYTHING SERIOUS IT MIGHT JUST BE STRESS LUMPS ! I will always be praying for you no matter what. and you stay in contact with me and let me know how everything went. Well I'm off to work. BYE!

i'm not sure how far along you were, and i'm sorry for your tremendous loss... however during one of my pregnancies, i got an infected milk duct that was quite painfull and non moving. i was terrified as well, but turned out to be something very treatable! and then when my twins were a few weeks old it happened again for some reason and i got antibiotics and was good. plz be optimistic, believe in you!! good luck!!
and again, my condolences. |

I am glad that you are starting feel PMSish. It is very strange that I am actually looking forward to having those symptoms myself.
I completely understand your anxiety about going into that ultrasound room again, but try not to worry. I will be thinking and praying for you. Try to stay positive and remember...we are here for you... |
