This is very embarrassing. A few weeks ago, I think I accidentally burned my vagina. I was using a back massager to pleasure myself and I think it go too hot and burned me. The massager is supposed to warm up slowly and I was not using it for that long. I didnt feel the burn till after I was done. I have used the massager before and it has never burned me. I thought it just had to be a minor burn, so I just put ointment on it and hoped it would heal. Well, it doesnt hurt as bad anymore, but now I feel numb down there. My clitoris is not totally, but pretty numb. The inner lips are also numb. I am going to see a gynecologist as soon as possible. I can still get an orgasm, but it is very weak and hard to do. Will the nerves grow back, or will it be numb forever? Please help, Im really scared and depressed about this.

Just like WC said, give it time. Burning your nerves would have landed you in the ER in incomprehensible pain...that did not happen so you will be fine once the initial discomfort goes away. Rub your hands together for heat before touching yourself next time, it will be much easier and less painful.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
I has been almost six weeks. Shouldnt I have all the feeling back by now? I cant seem to stimulate my clitoris. And why am I still dry and irritated down there? Is it going to heal like a sunburn? Cuz the dry skins seems to be sluffing off. And yes believe me I will never use the heat setting again.

It has been a month and a half. How long will it take for the feeling to come back?
