Hello, i am a 21 year old, i´ve been on the pill for about 2 years now. My periods have always incredibly painful, i was never physically capable of even standing up straight, just horrible. Also, the cramping started about 7-10 before the period itself, so the pain really inhibited me. One thing they were though was regular, 4 days every 28ish days.
I started taking the pill because of the pain and the bad mood swings i always had, i even told my GP that. Within those two years i got into the habit of only allowing my body to have a period once every months. Yes, this might be freaking out my system but i really could not live with the pain. The last few months have been incredibly busy, i moved to a new country for a study echange. Basically, i was on the pill straught from mid May ti´ll October, so almost 5 months.
Then suddenly one morning i started having bad cramps, i used to have a day or two of them even when i skipped it, so i was not worried. The day after i started bleeding and been bleeding for 16 days straight. The cramping is pretty bad but not as bad as it used to be during my usual periods. The bleeding itself mostly consists of blood clots, no red blood but also a little brownish (soya sauce coloured hehe) light discharge.
I have never had anything like this before. I am afraid i messed up my system with the pill. I tried for a few days now not using it at all and the bleeding stayed the same and i am started feeling like i was getting a yeast infection. So i went back on. Should i stop again or how should i count this??
I am in a foreign country and do not speak the language, plus i have a huge fobia of gyneacologysts. It is easy not to pay attention with my schedule (internship, job, studies), i blamed it on stress at first but now i am getting worried.
Help anyone, please.
