Hi everyone!! I am posting for the first time and hope that someone can help...I was treated for a UTI in August and shortly after going off the antibiotics, I get this burning and pain in my vaginal area. I have been seen by my Internist who then told me to see my Gynecologist. Both said I do not have a UTI, my Ultrasound came back normal etc.

It is a constant burning or stinging pain, sometimes it is itchy but not often. My Gynecologist prescribed a steroid cream for the area & she wants to see me in 3 weeks. I just want to feel better!!

Try to look up Lactobacillus Acidophillus and see how it could help you. It is known to help give the vaginal and even the intestinal environment more pleasant for good bacteria. It could be bought in health food stores or whole food stores as a supplement, or in other grocery stores, in cider vinegar and organic yogurt.

Has your Gyn ruled out yest infection? or BV? What is the steroid cream for, did she explain what that cream is supposed to treat?

I hope you get to feel better soon.
