Hey, ive been given 'high grade' abnormal as teh result of my pap smear, although ive read alot online and heard from a few friends that they knew someone who had this, i was wondering if anyone could share their experience, ive been very worried ever since i was told, i have to wait until febuary (booked up) until a coloscopy for further information, its taking every ounce of myself not to fall to teh ground and start crying after a pretty rough year with sexual health, i would love to hear from women who have experienced this, i dont have many women to talk to as i recently relocated country and am pretty isolated

For me personally, I would get a second opinion (second pap from a different doctor). I think it is a shame how most women just listen to whatever a doctor says. Doctors, not paps are 100% perfect. Or you could always ask your doctor to re-do the pap in a month, just to see. But I would think your doctor must not think it is serious if he is making you wait 4 months?
