Well first here's a little background on my gynecology history:

I had a LEEP in May
I have had recurrent yeast and bacterial infections
I have had irregular periods my whole menstrual life

My doctor recently placed me on provera to help regulate my periods (I'm also working on losing this extra weight I gained to help). Since I started taking this provera on the 1st of December, I have had this strong smelling yellow discharge along with itching. It also hurts when I gently clean my vagina with soap and warm water on a rag and when I wipe. Is this just a side effect of the medication? If it is, is it something I should bring to my DRs attention? The smell seems to be getting strong and not only is the pain terrible, but it is interfering with my sex life. Please help or give me any advice possible.
