need help.. having brown discharge..

uhmm i hope im posting this in the correct spot. i honestly dunno. :/ please dont be mad. i juss got registered on this thingy

anyways down to my issue.
Im having a brownish discharge and im really confused on why this is happening. i googled it an all this weird scary stuff popped up. it could be normal, it could a STD, or i could be pregnant, etc.
ive never had a STD or have been prego. Im only 19.. but one thing i do do is have unprotected sex. with my boyfriend though. him an i both got tested before we got together an were neg for everything.
i am on BC. but sometimes i don take the pill at the exact time i set. is this bad?
this last pack i missed my period. an havent gotten it yet an its been 2 wks. i have continued with this months though. but i have been gettin this discharge. :/ an last wk when we had sex we thought i was bleeding cuz he had a little on him but when i checked there wasnt anythin there. im not sure if it was actually blood or this dischage. this last time im sure it was this brown discharge though.
what should i do?
should i be freaking out?
do i need to get a prego test?
what is this discharge?
why is it there???
help please... anything is helpful.. thank youuu!!!
(oh an i would go to my gyno an ask her but i cant get into her office for like another month an i want answers noww.)

It is not bad as long as you keep it as close to that regular time as possible. Anything off by about 3 hours starts to change up how it is working in your system because it is made to be replenished every 24 hours or so (hence one pill a day).

The discharge is old blood, it is very common. You can take a pregnancy test just to put your mind at ease.
