Hi all

I recently had an abnormal pap due to HPV, had a colposcopy, and it showed moderate displaysia. They have now recommended LEEP surgery. I did have this back in 2004, but it went away on it's own w/out surgery. They are saying this time it will not go away on it's own, and I should do the surgery.

I'm nervous and not sure what to expect, they could not get me in for the pre-op consult until Feb! so I have to wait until then.

Can anyone give me some information on this procedure, and what your experiences were if you have had it done?
