Thread: Cervical Biopsy and After effects

Hi,

I am 23 and have recently had to have a Cervical Biopsy well actually two as the doctor took two biospys instead of one. I am starting to get worried about the cramping and discharged. I had the Biopsies on Thursday and afterwards I experienced the worst cramping ever, I spent hours in pain feeling like i was going to throw up. Now 4 days later and the cramping is still there not a severe but enough to make me just want to curl up in to ball and sleep till its over. How long will this last?

i regards to the discharge i have found that i am bleeding a little bit every now and then but its mainly just a brownish colour discharge but i have noticed that everynow and then what looks like little bits of black thin tissue are on my pad. should i be worried or is this normal. Am already stressing over the fact that i may have to have a LEEP prodecure and now am worried about getting an infection or something.

call your doctor!! Tell him whats going on! Ask if it's normal!!
