Thread: Brown discharge

In December, my period was only 3 days (which usually last 5 days) and the first day cramps were bad, but after that it was fine. In January, my period didn't come, and now I've had the brown discharge for 4 days...what is it and what should I do?

Hi, i usualy get brown discharge at the end of my period for maybe four days. It's normal. It your body getting rid of the old blood. But since i've started the pill, now that i think of it, i haven't been getting any. Having only brown discharge insted of your period is a little odd though. Are you on the pill? Because if you are it could be norma since your hormones are trying to get regular and to do that they are irregular in the beginning. Are you pregnant? I have a cousin who is pregnant and she gets brown spotting when her period would usually come.
