Hey, im only 16, but since my six grade, i've been having a lot of discharge. I can not even remember a day when i didn't have any. I must wear panty liner everyday or my panties would be stained. I also have to change liners at least once a day. I can't take it anymore. It drives me crazy having the constant feeling that i'm leaking! It's come to a point where i prefer having my period because i wear tampons. Those are the only day when i can feel free and not worry when i can go to the washroom because i just had discharge. I was wondering if any of you have ideas on how to cope with this. Am i doomed to live like this for the rest of my life?

What color is the discharge? Does it have any sort of smell to it? Any other symptoms? It is normal to have varying amounts of discharge and some women have more than others. However, if there are any other symptoms, irritation, redness, burning, itching, strong smells, etc., then there is the possibility of infection. Are your periods regular? Sometimes if the hormone levels are off it can create issues. The only other thing I can think to do is use unscented soaps and detergents, as sometimes allergies to things like fragrances and dyes can lead to excessive discharge. If you aren't having any other problems with the discharge though, I'm not sure. You could always talk to a parent or guardian about going to a gynecologist, just to have things checked out since it is making you so uncomfortable.

It depends on the days, but usually it's clear and looks like water. Sometimes it smells but only when i dont change my pantyliner for a long period of time. My periods are regular because i've been taking the pill for four months now.

I think it is just normal!! Sucks but I have had the same problem as you and I'm 30 now! I hear ya the only relief comes when you have your period, thanks to tampons. I asked my docor about this and he says it is completly normal. Unless you itchy then you probably have a yeast infection! If you really that concerned, you should see you doctor. Then you get actual facts specified for you. Perhaps he/she can change you pill brand.
