Have you gone to the doctor for birth control pills? They are often prescribed for acne issues, they also work to regulate periods.
I am almost 27 years old and am starting to think there may be something "off" with my hormone levels. I have had, and still have, a consistant acne problem. ( I have seen a dermatologist 2 times for medication that has not worked) My periods are also always a bit off. They always come anywhere from 3 to 5 days later than they did the previous month. They are never predictable in time, flow, or length. One month may be on time, regular flow and about a week long, then the next month it may be 5 days late, super light flow, and only last 3 days. The month after that may be 4 days late, super heavy flow and last a whole week. It has been this way since I gave birth to my son who is now 7. Ever since he was born, my acne flared up again and my periods are always unpredictable. What does this mean and is there anything I can do to help myself? I'll be 30 in a couple of years and I feel like I am having puberty problems!!

There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
actually yes I have, it was about 2 years ago. She advised me to allow a couple of months for the changes to take place....but they got worse! (well my acne did anyway, there was no change in the period flux) I took them for about 3 months all together then stopped. My face got so out of control I couldn't even handle it anymore. And the periods didn't regulate because I am assuming I didn't take the pills long enough...but the acne had just gotten so so much worse I had to stop the pills.

All you can really do is see another doctor then.

and do what for me? Im willing to try another birth control but if that still doesn't help, I would really like to know IF there is even anything wrong or can be helped at least. Or am I just one really unlucky person. Is a birth control pill the only answer to help me? ( I know these are answers for a doctor...they just never really seem to try and get to the bottom of the issue, they all want to push topical treatment or birth control on me; "solutions" that have yet to solve anything)
