Default No period after right ovarian removal and potential scaring on left...

Hi, I'm 34 and just recently had surgery to remove a large mass (40 pounds... yes there are pics floating around the hospital of it) and the right ovary it was attached to. They were supposed to leave the left ovary as I would like to try for a baby (or three). But there was a cyst the size of a small melon. They did leave some tissue but as one Dr. said after scaring the likelihood that I'll conceive naturally is like winning the lottery and in vitro will be my only option.

My question is this... will I get my period again? I haven't gotten it yet. Are my hormone just messed up? give it time? I know I should ask my doctor but he always seems so busy and put out at my questions. Thanks...

Wow! It's wonderfull that you are recovering and thinking ahead. Really only your doctor can answer this. Don't accept non answers. Have you tried calling the office and talking to a nurse practitioner?
