Thread: Its like a knife stabbing my insides all the time!!

Hi There,
Thought I would google some problems I was having and came across this website.
Two years ago I had an abortion (age 17) a year later follwed by another one- not what I had planned but all for the better at the time. Nothing has been the same with my body since the first. It started with pain during sex, becoming more and more painful each time. Now I just end up in tears during and after Which isnt great on my relationship, but hes hung in there since day one! Well, lately (meaning the last year) Ive been getting severe adominal pain during the day, night, well pretty much all the time. It gets quite depressing at times. I also have constipation, almost going days and when i do go the pain is back within half an hour. During sex the pain is definitly worse, its like a knife stabbing my insides!
I have been on laxatives, pills for IBS and mutlible tests aswell. Will be getting scans soon though but scared I may have put it off for the worse?
So if anyone has gone through this or experienced something similar, please help.

are you sure you have IBS and not something else? my ex suffered which what he thought was IBS for years... he was in constant pain... it ended up being celiac...
have you seen a gyno and asked them?
