Thread: Please help!

Please help, I've looked on countless forums but I can't seem to find anyone with quite what I have.

For about 3 months I have had thrush which has flared up on the last day of my period, it's definatly thrush because I've treated it with a pessary and cream and it's gone away. Part of this was a small open sore at the top of my vagina; I looked online and apparently this is a normal part of thrush, it cleared every month apart from last time, it grew more sore, until it scabbed over then 'moved' higher and higher. It is now around 1cm above the top of my vaginal lips, it's sore, itchy, open and has White flaky skin all around.

My vagina has also become quite smelly lately - I'm a clean person - I shower twice a day.

Also possibly just coincidence, but I have had a cold sore for the last week or so and I have no had one in years.

Sounds like herpes right? Could it be anything else? I have not had sex in a while and when I did it was always protected; hence my confusion.

It's driving me crazy, am constantly thinking about it and hurting.

I'm hoping there is something I can do myself to treat this, or it will go away in time, otherwise yes I know, off to the doctors.
