I have posted about my history of multiple cysts, endometriosis symptoms, and being treated for pcos. I am 19 and have had dysmenorrhea for 10 yrs, cyst issues for 3-5, and now I have more luck. I have been experiencing vaginal infections, usually bacterial for the past few mons, it seems since I started and stopped my birth control sesonale. I stopped taking it because it seemed to be doing more damage than good for treating my dysmenorrhea and cysts, partly due to having yeast and bacterial infections. I have been off of it for about 4 mons or so and started a new bc called lo estrin, or something of that sort. This bc has seemed to bring back the infections. I have a metalic odor, which I find to be rather strong. Usually when on my period, but an odor most of the time none the less. my periods have been lighter than usual, sometimes heavy, always painful, pain lasting longer than usual, light in color no matter the heavyness, and longer, basically 4-5 weeks nonstop now. I stopped taking to bc to see if that was it, but it seems either way it won't stop. I have been on this bc for about 2/3 mons now and just within this last period has it been completely irregular. usually my periods are verrry heavy, last 7 days, and that's it. No odor. I'm not sure if anyone else can help or if it's related to pcos or endo. I have a drs appt coming up but I'm a little concerned.
