I'm 22 yrs old. My boyfriend and I have been together for 9yrs (yep..high school sweethearts) and have only ever been with eachother.

About 2 months ago, i started getting these open sores around my vulva area. After some research, i thought herpes . However my boyfriend doesnt have herpes and i've never been with anyone else. Also, my sores are like light cuts (little slices on the surface of the skin), NOt any fluid-filled sores or bumps and my sores doesnt scab over (which are common with herpes). Also i've seen some pics with herpes infected women and my sores look nothing like that!!!

I started gym about the same time this started happening...could this be the cause?? or is it wearing tight jeans??

I do hope that it is something simple and normal, that could be treated with over the counter products. Because i really really really dont want to go by the doctor.

    Plz help me... i'm scared!

This could be many things, but really doesn't sound like herpes. It could actually be that tight workout clothes are causing chafing and tiny cuts. It could also be tiny pimple like bumps that occur when bacteria gets trapped under the skin. I have had these in the past and they are very painful and can be very scary. My GYN advised me to stop using antibacterial soaps because they can kill the good bacteria that fight off the bad bacteria. That worked for me. My strongest advice is to take a deep breath, relax and make that call to yor GYN to have an examination to see exactly what it could be. You don't need to be embarrassed becasue, afterall, thats what gynocologists are for. There is nothing they haven't seen and they aren't going to judge you. Go ahead and have your yearly physical and pap and get checked out for the concerns you're having. You'll feel much better after you do. *hugs*
