This is the 3rd time I have fought off a UTI this year.

My Doctor keeps on telling me I don't have a UTI - but I do.
She only tests me whenever I have no symptoms and when it's "just now beginning"

I'm very tired and worn out from having to deal with this.

I've been taking azo (2 tabs a day, max is 12/2 days)
along with the maximum dosage of cranberry pills (6/day)
    and lots of water.

I've been "treating" them myself - or not, looks like it just keeps recurring.

I'm wanting to know, what should I do? I can't go to the ER because they won't presribe me anything (done it recently)

and I can't change doctors because this doctor i have is the only one that takes healthwave.

Take D-Mannose. go to your health food store or Vitamin shoppe. Buy the pure powder, and you can even make your own capsules. Do some research on this. It prevents bacteria from sticking to the urethra. Take at first sign of pain, then take it every 2/3 hrs the first day. As symtoms get better, you can back off. Be persistant.
Hygene extremely important. WAsh entire perenial area thourougly before and after sex. Get a pitcher of water and pour it over whole area before sex. If you had a bowl mvt, wash with soap. After sex, pour a pitcher or a couple over perenial area. I got them all the time in my 20's, they ruined my life and sex life too. When I learned about proper hygene and followed this, I never got them again. Still follow this plan, and it's been 30 years without one.

And I've actually noticed having intercourse relieves my pain...but, I do plan on taking better care of my hygeine.

    thanks!
