Hello I am new to this forum and I am just looking for some clarification. I am 27 years old (28 next week), married with 2 kids. I have been having some issues within the past several months and I'm concerned. I'm hoping someone here and reassure me. Heres my story:
After I had my daughter in Feb 2010 I noticed my periods have gotten alot heavier. I have always been able to use Regular tampons but now its super plus and needing to change every 2 hours. In dec 2010 I noticed I started having alot of discharge with a odor. I wouldn't describe it so much as "fishy" just more like a sour smell? LOL. Well I went to my family dr, she NEVER checked me. Just told me I had a bacterial infection, gave me prescription and that was it. I took the medicine the issue went away. Then every month since then I have noticed about 1-2 days after my period ends the discharge and odor comes back and last for about 5 days. My period came 2 weeks late in April and only lasted about 3 days and its usually a good 5-6 days long. Well on May 4th i noticed that morning i had alot of brown discharge that lasted until that evening then it went away. The next morning I had red blood that only lasted until mid afternoon and then it went away. On saturday I had red blood that last 20 minutes and that was it.
I went ahead and made a appt with my family dr who did the pap test on me. While she was doing the test she commented about how much brown blood i had inside me. She had to use to long q-tips just to clear a spot to get sample for pap test. She then called me this week at 8:30 at night to inform me the test came back abnormal for ASCUS but negative for HPV. She gave me 2 options: a. wait 3 months and have pap test redone or b. she would go ahead and refer me to a gyno for biospy. I opted to wait it out and redo the test. Well after talking with my mom who had cervical cancer and a few other people I decided to go ahead and make appt with my gyno. She tested me and confirmed that I do have BV. She gave me prescription and that was it. I have taken all the medicine but now is a new issue...
I started my period on May 26 and May 28 I noticed i was no longer bleeding during the day, so that evening me and DH had sex well I bleed in the middle of sex. Afterwards no more blood. Then no bleeding Sunday May 29. Last night we had sex again and well I started bleeding again during sex. I have not bleed since then. Why would this be happening?

But I'm just concerned about all of this. It seems my issues have symptoms of cervical cancer and bacterial vaginosis. I just was hoping someone here and help me out and reassure me. Any information would be helpful at this point. Thank you so much!
