This would probably take a doctor or RN to answer fully but in general, healthy vaginal fluid is clear to whitish dependent on where the woman is in her cycle and how hydrated she is. We all have a natural odor and taste which will vary based in part on diet but should not be unpleasant.

If the vaginal fluid is yellow or greenish, clumpy and/or foul smelling that may indicate an infection and should be checked. Also if the woman experiences vaginal burning, itching or similar discomfort.

Are are any specific concerns you have?

Ever since I was young Ive had some white discharge, but when I brought it to my mothers attention she said it was fine. I was just currious.

But now that you mention discomfort, I am having some problem with that.

For the past while (month or so) I noticed I cant get wet during forplay. Ive also noticed that Ive been in discomfort all day long. It feels as if im dry, but I still have regular discharge. (which is normal as usal)
I am on birth control, but I havent had this problem with that before, so im ruling that out.

Could this be the main reason why this is happening?

Maybe not the main reason, but definitely a contributing factor. Our bodies need the hydration for a variety of reason. Try and get your water consumption back up and see if that helps a bit.
