What type of contraception are you using? (Shot, pill, IUD, etc.?)
Have been taking contraception to avoid vaginal bleeding of any kind. And generally it has worked. Bled very heavily last Saturday night though. Still bleeding somewhat frequently. But bleeding isn't as heavy anymore. Huh????

~Today, any person can fight the battles of one day It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's- yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~
All pills have a condition called breakthrough bleeding meaning you are still capable of bleeding at random times in your cycle simply because your body decides to whether or not the pill is said to prevent periods for a long period of time. If you have placebo pills, often white in color, then you will have your period when you get to the week of taking those ones.
