This is kind of a long story but I'm confused about what is going on and there arent any opening at my gyno until mid august. The inside of my vagina is very puffy and swollen, smell is definitely stronger but nothing unordinary, no itching right now, and discharge is white and a little thicker and dries on my underwear.

So starting from the beginning, I broke up with my longterm boyfriend in October of 2010, stopped taking birth control in November. My periods have been completely regular, just shifted to later in the week. This past may I didn't have a period, got one on time in June, and am currently late 5 days. There is a pretty strong pain going up the left side of my abdomen, not sure of it's crampIng or not.

So the real problem started at the end of may, I was on some strong antibiotics for an ear infection. I had a LOT of itching, redness, just uncomfortable down there and figured it was a yeast infection from the antibiotics. Once I stopped these symptoms went away almost immediately, maybe on two days. Ever since then it just hasn't been quite right down there. No exteme itching or anything but like I said it's puffy in there and definitely swollen. Theres three seperate little raised bumps around the opening that have been there since the episode in may and have not gone away. I have seen herpes and they don't look like it, though I'm not ruling it out. My ex's gf before me had hsv-2, they never were active when she was breaking out and always used a condom, though I know you can still get infected even of protecting yourself. I've never seen anything on him in the three years we were together, but like I said I'm not ruling anything out. I just think it would be more uncomfortable down there if
it was herpes?

I'm getting worried and just wanted to know if anyone had ideas? I know its a long post but there so many factors, I'm just worried! Thanks in advance.
