    Help!

I went to a new doctor yesterday for a physical and a pap smear. To give everyone a full overview, I am 24, have not been a virgin for about a year now, and every time I have sex it hurts. The best way I can describe the pain is a burning sensation. On a scale of 1-10 it can hurt up to an 8 or 9. Extremely painful, never getting pleasure. I feel like the pain has gotten worse over time. I went to my doctor and told this to him. He then performed the pap smear. I have never had a bad pap smear before but I also was never sexually active when receiving them. The pap smear itself was not that painful but I bled a lot during the exam. He said the the outside of my cervix and my cervix itself is red. I am going for blood work next week just to be sure STDs are not a factor. It is hard to believe it would be an STD though bc my partner was not a virgin, however, the only girl he slept with was a virgin herself. Since the exam (now a full 24 hours later) I am still bleeding as if I have my period. Does anyone have any idea as to what this could possibly be? If I should be considered with my cervix still bleeding? My stomach has been in knots all day over the matter and I can't eat. Please offer any advice or answers you may have!
