I am only 32 and have to deal with a very uncomfortable rectocele. My doctor says she can preform surgery to correct it, but I am not sure if I should go with the traditional surgery or the MeSh procedure.

I am also very scared if this is even the right decision to make. I do not want to deal with this rectocele, but could the outcome of this surgery be worse then my symptoms,.. constipation, manual removal, CONSTANT feeling of having a large tampon just about to come out, and just the horrible feeling of being disfigured and ugly.

I am hoping to hear advise from someone who has had a rectocele corrected by surgery, and what were the outcomes. Thankfully I do not have a cystocele or any other type of prolapse.
