Hi ladies. So recently, for whatever reason, I have been getting a lot of bartholin cysts. I'm pretty sure that's what it is, as I googled it and it matches the pics. About three days ago, I started feeling some pain and saw a huge lump on the outside of my vagina at the top. It feels like there is a large marble under my skin. It isn't secreting anything, it is just very hard and sore to the touch, in addition to being red and swollen. How can I get rid of these/prevent them from popping up in the first place? I've had a few randomly in the past, but this is the 2nd one I have had in 2 months and I don't know why it is starting to become a common thing. I am not sexually active, and have not been in several years, so I know it is nothing like that.

The cyst or whatever I have right now is so big and painful I'm thinking about going to the doctor to get it drained, but I'm scared of how much that would hurt. Anyone have experience dealing with this? Would they numb it before draining it? I mean, it already hurts enough as it is, I'm trying to lay down on my back so I don't put pressure on it because sitting is impossible right now. Not really sure what to do, any help would be appreciated.
