There are a lot of things that affect a menstrual cycle. I knew some girls in high school that were athletes and didn't have periods, some that were underweight/overweight and it does things to your hormones. Have you had any major changes lately?
I'm 20 years old i stopped having a menstrual cycle 2 years ago i was worried about this but the OB doctor i went to wasn't very helpful told me she didn't know what was wrong but she didn't think i could have children. I got scared and never went back. Now after 2 years and x amount of months i wake up from a nap and suddenly have start a cycle. I'm very confused and worried. I have NO insurance so going to the doctor isnt exactly the first option im looking at...Someone help...

What an irresponsible doctor, to base a diagnosis of infertility on such vague information! A second opinion is in order, whenever you get insurance in the future (BTW - you do NOT want to get pregnant without insurance. We're talking a $15,000+ bill.)
Skbrady is on the right trail - any major changes? In diet, weight, activity? Stress? Generally, HAVING a cycle after so long sounds like a good sign, as opposed to continuing to NOT have a cycle.
