    Unhappy Bladder problems

Alright. So About a month ago I got a bladder infection and took antibiotics for it. It never really went away, though. For about two or three days I felt better, but then my period came and it just feels like it's back but I know it's not. Is this completely psychosomatic, or should I make another appointment with a doctor? I don't know what to do. =(

sometimes u need more than one shot of anti-biotics. did u take them all? ive had a urinary tract infection but im not sure if that is the same as a bladder infection. i wee alot anyway and it is half niggling (not weak) bladder and half in my head lol
If I knew where I was going I would already be there

I would definitely go back to the doctor and have them do another dip test. If it comes back negative, then I would see a urologist to see why you are feeling discomfort. One thing that can never hurt is to take cranberry pills and drink tons of water and cranberry juice. This will definitely help you feel better, but still see your doctor just in case. I usually wait to see if it comes up positive for the bladder infection before I take antibiotics just because taking antibiotics if you don't have a UTI is not good, but that is a personal decision. Good luck!

I have bladder issues. I get a strong urge to wee and sometimes its embarrassing cos I need the toilet urgently and others I can easily supress by crossing my legs tight. My bladder also gets irritated and sore and feels kind of burning and sore when I wee and I have been tested with a bladder infection and they didnt find anything. My doctor said I have an irritable bladder. It drives me insane sometimes and I hate it so much that sometimes I'm in tears over it and I usually cry when I'm on the toilet because I have just had enough.
I'm only 25 yrs old too which is also disturbing, I am on oxybutynin for it but I really hate the side effects.
I live on the drink crancleanse for temporary relief which is a urinary drink from the chemist. I feel my doctor isnt helping me much with it because I still feel awful with it

Anyway advice to those who think they have an infection go and get it tested again and I suggest taking lots of urinary cranberry drinks because it does help it, I hate continuous infections as a child and I think that is why my bladder is like it is now so please dont just leave it get it fixed now.
