Lexilex... How do you think the Natren is working? Is it giving you tons of discharge? It is giving me way more than usual discharge, more watery and egg white like (makes me not want to eat eggs anymore LOL)....I think the smell is going to come back once I finish the course but its not as bad right now. I think I have like another week left on it though.

So, I have not started the Natren yet. My discharge has been ridiculous so I became very frustrated and went back to the gyno. Apparently, from taking antibiotics for my sinus infection, I developed a Yeast infection in addition to already having the BV. so now i have both. ugh!!!

My dr. gave me a 5 day pill, suppositories for 3 days, and then a pill for 1 day to kill the yeast. Didn't want to resort to more prescriptions but felt i had no choice. i dont have the names on hand bc i ran it to the pharmacy, but when I pick it up, i'll post them here. maybe you or anyone has taken them before?

Sorry the Natren isn't working! I read online on another forum that it did cause more than the usual discharge, thicker almost. blah. I'll use the Natren after these meds if they dont work. Keep me updated!

I know how you feel... I want to go back to the gyno too. But they have not been able to do anything everytime I have gone so I think what's the point... I have already seen 4 different docs for this problem. I too had BV and yeast at the same time at one point. The yeast cleared up right away though.

I'm a little worried becuase last night I used a Natren suppository and it has not came out yet like it has been...I don't know where it went but it's not coming out. I don't know if this will cause harm. And since it hasn't leaked out I am having the nasty odor, so I know that once I stop the odor will be back. I feel like crying. Have you ever tried using apple cider vinegar... The natural kind with the mother in it? I was reading about it today, the Braggs brand, and it sounds good. Of course everything sounds good until you try them and nothing works. I think I'm going to try it though. Let me know what medicines the doc gave you and if they do any good. Thanks!

So yeast and bv at the same time is not uncommon i see. hm, hope it goes away with these meds. still waiting to pick the up.

ok so as for the natren being stuck, give it time, it should dissolve at some point. drink LOTS of water so you can flush out your system. I've also read about apple cider vinegar, the organic kind. I've read in some forums of people using it as a douche, and also bath with it. Give it a shot if the Natren doesnt work, i'll do the same. i'll try anything at this point....

So I picked up my meds. I was prescribed Flagyl for for 7 days/ 2x a day, Terconazole suppositories, and fluconazole pill for 1 day.

god i hope these work. Angelhalo, have you or anyone here taken them before? I've read about Flagyl online, a lot of people have posted that the BV comes back right after they finish the dose

I have had BV off and on for the last several years. My doctor told me during my last visit with this that I am very acidic. I just took the meds he prescribed and went on about my business. It went away and stayed away but now I know that's because I broke up with my bf around the same time. I recently had another bout with BV (new partner) and have begun to make changes to my diet accordingly and started taking a probiotic (CVS Pharmacy makes one that I beleive is comparable to the RepHresh PB -- I can't find that anywhere). I figured another round of antibiotics wouldn't do anymore than they did before (very little) so I thought I would research it and try a natural approach. However, after reading through this forum (almost entirely), I think I also have Candida (which it appears it is common to have both). I have further looked into the Candida Cleanse, but it looks like that tells me to eat stuff that I'm not supposed to eat to get my pH levels in balance. For example, I read that fruits will help with your pH levels but they are too high in sugar and not recommended for the cleanse. Any help would be much appreciated!

Someone Pleassssssseee help me! I to suffer from bv and this time my test is coming back negative. I have a fishy smelling yellow discharge and i tested negative for bv so my doc prescribed me relagard to balance my ph. A few months ago i tested postive for bv and took flagyl. I went back in got retested and tested negative but still had symptoms i started with. I broke down and went back to the doc yesterday and again tested negative. Whats wrong with me! I also got diagnosed with hpv (cancerous) a few months ago. I went in for a colpo and biopsy. havent heard back yet. But could this be the cause of my fishy discharge since tests are negative for bv?? I also am fatigued alot have had moderate weight gain and sometimes cry for no reason. Also I have had acne for the past 6 months or so. I never used to have problems with acne. I just feel so drained and with a 3 yr old son its not fun... Anyone have any ideas??
