Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. Ingredients are:

Lactic acid, glycogen, propylene glycol, methylhydroxypropyl cellulose, sodium lactate, water, ph3.8

Other things I've tried are RePHresh, which I did find helped a bit, but this is better. I also tried Bio Fem (at least I think that's what it's called), which didn't help at all, and the same for Aci Jel.

Thinking of going back to the dr and asking for Metrogel since the oral Flagyl pills did nothing at all. Anyone have success stories with this stuff or is just another waste of time and $? Also think i'll buy the Rephresh Pro B since Mommy2Eryn&DJ said it works.

I read on another BV forum that Natural Brand Super Probiotic with Bifidobacterium & Natural Brand™ Super Acidophilus , together work really well- better than the Primadophilus Reuteuri and acidophillus pills. Found them at GNC but Hesistant to buy because they are both like 30 bucks, but i'll spend it if i know it'll work. Anyone try these?

    Sigh.

Have you had any luck finding this Balance Activ site? I'm interested in getting it, just can't find a U.S site that sells it...

No, Ihaven't had a chance to search for products with the same ingredients. I wish we could get the Balance Activ here. I have heard good things about it but I have heard good things about a lot of things and tried them and they didn't work. I even spent 80 bucks on Enzara and then 80 on Femanol and they both didn't do a thing.

Did you get the rephresh pro-b?? I have been using it and I haven't seen any improvement : ( I don't know what's going on with us. I also ordered the Yeast Arrest and Natren to try together but the Yeast Arrest is a New Formula now... It's not the same as it used to be and I didn't want to use it because it has tea tree oil in it now. I have tried tea tree oil suppositories and they are awful smelling. You wouldn't even want to go out of the house after they have melted and the smell will stay for a days. They should have left the formula the way it was.

Did you go back to the doctor yet?

I haven't gotten anything, havent wanted to spend money unless it's I know it'll work. any good news on your end?? I was supposed to go to the Dr tomorrow but she just called and cancelled for next week due to Passover. She also told me that my last test results return and i have a 3rd infection in addition to yeast and bv, which is GROUP B STREPTOCOCCUS. wtf is this and has anyone here ever had it? She called in for antibiotics for me which im going to go pick up now, and i really don't want to. more antibiotics in my body leads to more problems, more yeast.

She thinks the flagyl treated the bV but I still have discharge and symptons. I don't know anymore. i feel dirty, and i'm not. I have one sexual partner, I'm very conscious of my hygiene down there, it's SO Frustrating!!!!!

    Default My Cure for BV

I know exactly what a struggle you all are going through because I have experienced for many years now. It's a big headache for many reasons and I have tried many many solutions, both regular and natural. I believe natural is better personally but it has just been difficult figuring out which is ideal and worth while for me. It would be a long list if I were to bother to tell u all that I've tried so I'll spare you but it's been all the ones you have (folic acid, vinegar, acidophilous ect. etc.). I have finally, finally, finally found something that seems to be working perfectly and is ideal (for the most part) for me. Generally speaking, I think it's important to try and eat as much of a balanced diet as possible (with fruits, whole grains and veggies etc. and I most definitely still take the folic acid just because). Recently, through my online research, I have come across something called 'balance active'. It restores the vagina's PH and specifically meant for this purpose (BV). I use it for 7 days to treat the BV, then as maintenance just twice a week after that for prevention. NO MORE ODOR or anything else troublesome about this condition. I am in my second week and so happy about this, I can't even tell you. It can change a person's life who has had this problem ongoingly with no other success. Also after your period they say can use for 2 days or so and after and during a round of antibiotics. It is so perfect in my opinion. The only issue is I wasn't able to find it in the United States. I had to order it from a site that would ship it here from the United Kingdom and I was DETERMINED to find one that would. The one I used was Asset Chemist because that was the only one I found that sold it 'and' shipped here. I also like to eat yogurt like Activia because of the acidophilous content and the fact that I like it. I just had to share my success in the hopes that someone else can stop suffering. Good luck to all of you.

Thanks for this A.B Just looked it up online, seems promising, but so did all the other treatments i tried! i might just go ahead and buy it from the chemist site. Also just spent 30 bucks on the Rephresh Pro B. Going to start that today, so if that doesnt work, Balance Activ it is.
