Did the AVC cream clear you up? I will ask my doc about it. He has me on vagifem right now, which is an estrogen replacement. I don't think its going to work for me.

I tried the Femmesil also and it didn't work. I thought it was going to but when I stopped using it I had the same problems. I don't like the way it smells either.

Hate to ask but what's "AVC Cream"

I have had this problem for about 5 years. I really think it's time Dr's started taking us seriously. I have discovered that the problem is worse after an orgasm...the juices expelled during orgasm really smell bad! I didn't think that fresh healthy fluids would smell, I assumed it was just my vaginal canal. I even expected fresh healthy fluids to feel cleansing, but nope.
It started at symptoms of BV...pearly white discharge, fishy or musky odor. Now the smell is there all the time.
I don't understand this at all. So many are having this problem and the Dr's act like we're crazy. I am doing everything they say also, but I refuse to NOT use soap. No way! People would be able to smell my odor through my clothes! I use allergen free soap, though. I haven't read this entire thread...I'm hoping I can find some good remedies by perusing through...

P.S. I don't believe it is a pH problem at all. I used litmus paper and tested my pH and it was normal.
I am so sick of this problem! I am embarrassed to have sex! I thought, what if I somehow lose my husband (heaven forbid)....I would never have sex again. My husband is understanding, but a new guy would run for the hills. I can bathe and we have sex right away, but I'm going to tell a new guy I meet that "we have to have sex right away. If we wait too long I will start smelling"?????
