I need your help to guide me for my query.
i m 6 weeks pregnant . i consulted 2 doctors and both have given me different medicine/opinion and I really appreciate if you can give me a guidance which medicine i should go ahead

Before that let me brief you that i doesn’t have any diabetes in family or any infection (urinary) or didn’t have any abortion in the past..i only had irregular periods

Below are the medication given by 2 doctors.
1)1st Doctor gave us 3 medicine:
    1. Duphaston (10 mg)
    2. Justprin(aspirin ) (81 mg)
    3. Folicum (folic acid) (5 mg)

2)2nd Doctor told us to only take Folic acid out of above 3! (she also mentioned that aspirin is only needed if you have done abortion in the past)

Can you pls guide me which one i should go ahead with.

I'm not a Doctor and you really should be talking to them about this BUT for what it's worth. . .

I don't know what the benefit of a daily aspirin product would serve. This would tend to keep the blood flowing freely with less clotting factor.

Duphaston, may have some benefit if you are at risk of placentia previa or something similar. Taking this actually makes sense to me. The following is a quote from a medical site:

Duphaston tablets contain the active ingredient dydrogesterone, which is a synthetic hormone similar to the naturally occurring sex hormone, progesterone. It is used in a wide range of menstrual disorders that are thought to result from a lack of progesterone in the body.

"In women, progesterone is responsible for the development of a healthy womb lining (endometrium) that is necessary for pregnancy. The body produces progesterone at certain times of the menstrual cycle, causing the womb lining to flourish. If a fertilized egg does not attach to the womb lining by the end of the monthly menstrual cycle, the levels of progesterone in the body decrease. This causes the body to shed the womb lining (a menstrual ‘period’). If a fertilized egg successfully attaches to the womb lining by the end of the monthly cycle, progesterone levels in the body remain high. This helps maintain a healthy womb lining for the ongoing pregnancy."

Folic Acid - absolutely necessary for the development of a healthy embryo. Lack of folic acid in your diet can/may have very bad consequences for both you and the child. As the embryo developes it requires folic acid and the only place it can get it from is you. If you are deficient in this then you both will suffer.

Just remember that everything YOU take into your body will transfer into your baby's body. It's wise to be careful and if you have concerns about what they are prescribing get another opinion. If the 2nd Doctor is an OB/GYN I'd tend to go with what they say.
