Unhappy problems are starting to effect my self-esteem :(

I'm a young woman who is a virgin. Since about the age of 12 I've had yellow discharge and a foul odor. I finally got the courage to go to an ob/gyn and she says all my tests come back normal. There has been no growth of bacteria. I have been prescribed everything in the book. Nothing works.

I took it upon myself to do some "exploring" and I noticed right away that the smell wasn't coming from my vagina, it was coming from my inner labia area. The hairs also smell very bad, too. When washing (very gently and with water only), yellow discharge comes off on the washcloth.

I have recently moved, and have an appt. with a different OB/GYN next week, and I am wondering if they will be able to culture the inside of my labia. I know some discharge is normal but I am convinced I am NOT normal because why would anybody have sex if they felt as terrible as I do? It's awful to be told that someone can't help you because they simply don't know the problem.

I have the most wonderful boyfriend, I'm saving sex until marriage but I think that day will be coming soon... How can I say yes when I feel like I'm contaminated??

    Thanks.

I think i have the same problem you do. and dont want to talk to my guy about it really. though hes very understanding and has proven so over the past 3 yrs i've been with him. I'm wanting to start having a sexual relationship with him but want to feel good about myself first. which means clearing up my cystic acne and what I think is a bladder infection. Hey who knows you might have one to. Do you constantly need to pee? thats a sign. I've been told cranberry juice is a nice natural remedy but i'm allergic. I hope maybe it can work for you? good luck

No, I don't have to pee constantly, in fact I probably pee less than the average person. I'm just waiting to see my new OB/GYN this week. When I went to the other one and I complained of odor and discharge, they did the typical vaginal culture and the results came back negative. But since now I can pinpoint more directly where the odor is coming from, hopefully that will help the doctor figure out the problem. I did stop wearing pantyliners this week and that seems to have helped a bit with the discharge. I don't like the "wet" feeling but I suppose that is normal and I can live with it. No improvement with the odor as far as I can tell. I will post again after my appointment on Tuesday, wish me luck!

Constantly needing to drink water and constantly needing to pee is also a sign of diabetes. One of the old time observations for diabetes in guys was that they had flies around their shoes a lot. This was because their urine contained a lot of sugar and they dribbled some pee on their shoes when they peed. The flies were attracted to the sugar. Excess sugar in your urine could speed up things like yeast infections.
