Thread: vaginal discharge - freaking out

Hi, I am having weird symptoms and am terrified.

I started having yellow smelly vaginal discharge today and mild, intermittent left lower abdominal pain.
I had protected sex 2d ago and also yesterday, although some parts of it were unprotected. No ejaculating inside me or anything. This was first time with a new partner.

I got tested for chlam/gono in February (negative) when I was still with my ex with whom I broke up in June. No partners since then (so, ~3 months) until this guy. But even if this guy had something, why would I develop symptoms 1 day after??? It seems any kind if STD would take way longer, at least a few days or something...

I am sitting here freaking out and I have PID or something else serious... I have never had any symptoms until today! My gyno appointment is tomorrow but I am still freaking out. I am hoping anyone had similar symptoms or knows anything about it? It is a torture sitting here waiting for my appointment
