I have the same problem. If you figure it out please share.
So, I have been to two different ob/gyns regarding a strong sweat/BO odor coming from my vulva region. Both only tested for vaginal infections, and healthy results were indicated. I stopped wearing pantiliners to see if this would help, and it did not. I get a yellowish stain in my underwear.
If I stick a finger in my vagina and smell it, there is no scent. After I wash, there is little to no scent "down there" (using water only). However, after an hour with even no activity, I am wet down there again and I can smell a strong sweaty smell.
What could the reason for this be? Hyperhidrosis? I am thinking about scheduling another appt. with this ob/gyn to discuss this issue. I cannot live like this. I can never imagine subjecting someone to sex while I have this foul and unpleasant odor.

By the way everybody - I am a virgin and have not engaged in any other sexual activities either.
Abstrakt - have you been to any doctors?

I used to get this problem, and luckily where we live now we have a shower head that can be moved around. I use that and spray in between my um.... well... Into my area and that normally does the trick for me. No more odors![]()
Unfortunately I am a college student so I do not enjoy that luxury...
Hm. How about a clean wash cloth? Don't use soap, because soap throws off the pH balance in your feminine area, just water.
I do use only water and a washcloth (like I said in OP)
I appreciate your helpfulness, though. Doctors can't figure it out either.
I get what I consider to be a stronger odor during ovulation and right before Aunt Flow. I use one of the feminine hygiene unscented soaps during that time and it def helps neutralize the odor. For me I know it's hormone related because i didn't experience it until I went off the pill and began ovulating.

I have the equate brand of summers eve unscented. There is another brand too. They are back by the feminine hygiene products in walmart.
