Okay, so I've gotten PID twice this year so far, once in January and the second time in April. And since the 13th of this month I've been having pains down in my uterine/ovarian area. My doctor did a swab and it came back clean, so I don't have BV or yeast infection. They are doing an ultrasound on the 6th to see what's going on, but these pains are horrible. I thought I was pregnant at the beginning of the month, because I had spotting 10 - 12 days after my ovulation day, but I ended up getting my period 2 days early, and only for 4 days. (For the past year and a half it's been a 33 day cycle with actual bleeding for 5 days total). Could the pains be another case of PID, or could it be something worse? Now, these cramps are worse than my normal period cramps, and they are not always constant. But it's been going on for 15 days now. My period this month was from Sep 8 - Sep 12. Also my OB/GYN here told me that you normally don't get PID without having chlamydia - which I've never had a STD in my life and I've been in a monogamous relationship since May of 2010 (We got married in August that year).
