I wasn't really sure which section to post this question in, but please help.

I know frequent douching isn't good for you, but I just mean once in a while. Lately I've been having this clumpy, bitter discharge. It's been here for a month and the thing is... ha, well I've started seeing this guy and things are getting intimate.

So... if I were to douche on the days I know I'm going to see him, will the douching help clean out the discharge?

I'm not overly sure what douching really does...

If you are having a bitter, clumpy discharge, I would be going into the Dr for a check up. That sounds more like an infection.

To get to your question, to douche or not to douche is a matter of personal opinion. Excessive douching is a huge no no. I douche once a month, plain water & vinegar douche and have had zero problems. I definitely wouldn't do it more often than that.

But again, because of the type of discharge you are describing, I think it would be wise to go get checked out.
