I am new here, well here's my story: I have been waiting close to 2 years for an appointment with a Gyn. Reason being that my Doctor's office messed up and did not send the referral letter. They sent it over a year later and did not add updates to the changes in my health. I finally get the appointment in 2 weeks and just recently had to go on short term disability from work. What's going on,

    here are my symptoms:
-Pain in my lower right abdomen, sometimes severe enough to go to the hospital (tests show not GI related)
-Pain in my lower back, almost always, especially when standing
-Cannot sleep on my right side, extreme pain develops in minuters and runs to my lower back
    -Unexplained weight loss (about 30lbs)
    -loss of appettite and nausea
    -insomnia
    -anxiety
    -irritability
    -depression
-muscle twitches/spams that wake me in the night
    - diahrea, most of the time
    -pelvic pain
    -pain and bleeding after sex
    -headaches
    -growing mole
-new allergies to hair dye and bee sting
-new test, just came back, deficeincy in vitamin D in August, outside alot and eat food rich in D
    -higher GGT
    -loss of memory/focus
-body coordination off and speech kinda messed up
    -headaches
    -Siactic nerve attacks
    -heavier periods with more pain
-bleeding more often that not, last period lasted 14 days, 4 day break and on again.

I have had a Cat scan with injection, everything shows fine with a comment about cysts on my ovaries, Ultrasound in and out also show cysts another mass but nothing remarkable. Negative for the ovarian cancer bimarker (C126?)

I'm thinking so far that it could be endometriosis, uterine cancer or ovarian cancer.

I am not looking for a diagnosis online, but this is driving me crazy, I need to learn more and find out if anyone is just like me.

    Any comments will be appreciated.

    I missed a couple symptoms:

-foul odor to colorless small amount of discharge, bacterial vaginosis and all STD are negative
    -have a sinus infection
-cannot sleep on left side due to difficulty breathing, need to cough to clear the air passage and won't happen when I am laying on my left.

Good lord, you poor thing!! That's a of a lot of things to think about, and I think at this point it's important to recognize it might not be as easy as one diagnosis like endometriosis. It could be that by itself, or it could be that with something else. Did you say that you had cysts on your ovaries & were aware of PCOS symptoms? Have you ever had any EEG's done? With mentioning nerves & cooridination & memory problems, it would be good to check that to be clear of neurological upsets like epilepsy. I have epilepsy & found that it mixes with a bunch of other things. My epilepsy affects my hormones, which affects my PCOS symptoms, complicating medication. In result I have heavier periods, which cause me a lot of pain both during my menses & ovulation. I also have one large cyst now on my L ovary that will probably need surgery soon, might be possibly a dermoid cyst. But my point is, that my epilepsy is just one thing, it's that & PCOS & then complications of the two, it sounds like your diagnosis might not be that clear cut as much as you might want it to be narrowed down. But it sounds like you've been battling all this for a while, I don't know how you managed to do it but I guess I lived with epilepsy 20 years without getting diagnosed, so I can't talk. Try not to overdue your research online, it can really overwhelm you & fill you with probabilities that could have nothing to do with your situation. It's hard these days with so many chances for overstimulation from educational (and somewhat faulty) information on the web. I'm glad you're going to finally get to see a doctor, hopefully that will settle something but try not to be discouraged, I know it's hard.

I hope you get some answers soon! Keep us updated!
Oh also, have you had a series of blood panels done at any point? That could

Well, first of all, shame on your doctor for screwing up and causing you to have to wait too long for a gyno appointment! Anyway, I really feel for you. Are you under any external stress that you think may be taking its toll on your body? I definitely agree with the above poster in that it might be difficult to get a clear cut answer with the wide range of symptoms you've been having. Also, try not to do too much medical research on the web, as it will likely just increase your stress and anxiety levels.

I am not a doctor, but the first thing that came to mind was something hormone-related maybe? Are you on any hormonal birth control that might not be agreeing with your body? I know symptoms of different things can kind of overlap. For example, I was diagnosed with vulvodynia and at the same time was on a BC pill that was just making me feel awful. I had vaginal pain, severe cramping, painful sex, mood swings, etc. I had moderate anxiety over everything, had trouble sleeping and lost some weight. Finally, I opted for an IUD and now I have more back pain, worse cramping, heavier periods, no mood swings, but still have headaches and now my vulvodynia is gone. It makes no sense to me. Sometimes it's hard to pinpoint what the heck is going on at any given time and what is being caused by what, especially when you've got female hormones to deal with.

Make sure you raise all of your concerns with your gyno and hopefully you'll be able to get some answers. Feel better and good luck!
