By the way, I have hears about smegma and it seems not to fit the description. I have this every day and it is not inside the clitoral hood. Mostly on either side of the clitoral hood.
Some of you may have seen my questions about vulvar odor. I have one last one. I always find a whitish substance around my clitoral hood/close to the urethra opening. If I get it on my finger and smell it, it is a very pungent and concentrated version of the unpleasant smell I am having. However, I brought this concern up with my ob/gyn and she did not seem to find that alarming or important. Is that normal? I DO NOT have any infections and by the way, this happens every day.

It is basically sweat that has condensed into a solid. Around your urethra it will be sweat and leftover urine (no matter how much you wipe there will still be some there). Your vagina is naturally going to be wet, however when you put on your underwear no matter what kind your body is going to sweat because it is naturally a damp dark moist location. That collection of sweat will eventually dry and leave a residue much like your black t-shirts may show white sweat lines from time to time.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
