I'm posting this both in the cancer & gynecology threads. Simply because I don't know where to put it.
This has only happened twice, both today. And it's freaking me out a bit. But I would poop normally and when I went to wipe there would be blood and muscus coming from my vagina. I don't get my period for another 2 weeks. I'm 16 years old. Never been sexually active. Don't usually have too many problems down there. Then I went to the bathroom again a couple hours later, and the same thing happened.
I searched online and all it comes up with is cancer... Which I really hope that isn't the case! Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Online sources will almost always over-exaggerate symptoms because people have a major tendency to think the absolute worst. Blood from your vagina can simply be spotting that is pushed out from the pressure experienced during a bowel movement. Even if your period is not due for 2 weeks you can have spotting and you can have mucus discharge. Another common reason for random mucus and bleeding is an infection that ends up with inflammation and tiny cuts, not STD infection, but yeast or BV. But cancer is a major step off the deep end for something as simple as mucus discharge during your ovulation time (2 weeks before your period is roughly that time of ovulation so you should expect more mucus discharge anyway).
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
