Glad you went to the ER and they got you taken care of. Take it easy for a while!

caterpiller79, for the past two months or so i have been experiencing the same difficulty & discomfort you mentioned when trying to urinate: difficulty beginning a stream, light flow and it feels like i am not emptying my bladder fully each time i use the restroom. although i am sorry you had to go through such pain and all the testing, etc. it is comforting to know there will be relief in my future! i saw my doctor last friday and told him about my symptoms. he did a urinalysis and from that discovered microscopic hematoma, but the culture was inconclusive (either from not recieveing a clean catch or from an overabundance of bacteria -- regardless he was unable to pinpoint exactly what microorganism was causing me such trouble). he then sent me back for a follow up urinalysis: still containing blood & yet another inconclusive result. i had considered the possibility of stones, but he decided to put me on an antibiotic for a UTI (bactrum) and told me if the symptoms did no subside following treatment to make yet ANOTHER appointment. i also have endometriosis which was treated by lap in september, but since have been expereincing the same symptoms prior to my procedure, so i am not sure if that could be the cause of my pain while uriniating... i have an ob/gyn appt. in january to rule this out. i have never had a kidney stone so i do not know what they feel like & i am no one to self - diagnose so i am praying for relief in the near future.

Did you go to the urologist yet? I have the same problem. Can you let me know what he/she says? I am just curious. I am having a hysterectomy soon and will be seeing a urologist myself after the surgery.

You didn't read my last post. I had bladder stones, after they removed them I'm ok. Everything is back to normal.

    Chaya,

Welcome back! We missed you. It's good to know you've recovered.

chaya, glad to hear that everything is going fine.

My health is going fine but me and my husband hardly talk to each other and I've been sleeping in the spare bedroom, alone.
