Mirena coil removal
My doctor tried to remove mine today as its been in for around 6-7 years . I had it originally put in to stop excessive period blood loss , my periods stopped immediatly which was a blessing as id always had heavy periods , today when my doctor tried to remove it i thought my womb was gonna come out as well , she had to stop as i was in a lot of pain with her trying to get it out .... she said shel refer me to hospital as she wasnt sure which coil it is , im nearly sure it was a mirena and surely that would state which one it is on my notes wouldnt it ? i want to be knocked out for them to remove it - i was knocked out when it was originally inserted
Any thoughts on this please ?

Thankyou caterpillar79 , Today i have a few cramps , like period pains , maybe the doctor " dislogged " it ?
Update
Just been to my hospital appointment and in having it taken out under anesthetic , also going to take a biopsy due to itching on labia walls , will update when its done x
