Hello, everyone..

I am new to these forums, so hello and thank you for reading my post. I suppose I should preface this by saying that I'm 24 and have one five year old.

Since June or July I have been bleeding vaginally. It has never stopped. I'd say the blood is typically dark red, has a lot of clots, and is like a light period and some spotting. Lately, however, the blood has been bright red. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. I don't experience a lot of cramping. I have dull aching occasionally through the day and about once a week I have cramps that could be comparable to period cramps.

I want to say that prior to this, I didn't have a normal period for months. I can only recall having four-five periods in the past two years. I have a history of missing periods for months at a time and it's happened off and on since I was 15. I'm not sure if this is relevant either, but after sex I tend to feel sick. I get nauseous, my stomach hurts and I have cramping.

I am so scared that I finally decided it was time to get over my social phobia and I scheduled a doctor's appointment for January. In the mean time, I'm just hoping to find some answers. Thank you for any help you can provide.
